Our Vision
The vision of Above Xpectations Track Club (AX Track) is to give youth athletes from Delaware and surrounding areas, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, a chance to compete in world class track and field competitions, and more importantly, to prepare them to
take an academic/athletic step beyond high school while living a safe, drug free, healthy lifestyle and pursuing their goals.
AX Track gives athletes an opportunity to travel around the country to compete with nationally ranked athletes, improve their academic performance, and be a member of a team of elite performers. For our athletes, meets and races are more than a competition, they're also fun.
Regardless of whether or not young athletes win a medal or achieve a personal best, they'll have the opportunity to make new friends, create a lifetime of memories, and live a life Above Xpectations!
Academic Enhancement
Above Xpectations Track Club urges understudy competitors to seek after scholarly accomplishments all through their schooling. A 2.5 GPA is needed for all secondary school level participants. Extra mentoring is accessible to all competitors. AX track endeavors to ensure that all competitors have the chance to attend a university, by offering required assets, for example, SAT preparation, mentoring, reading assistance, college workshops and tours.
Certified Coaches
Our coaches are USATF certified and have had 10+ years in the track and field circuit. We boast a group of coaches who have experience in the high school and collegiate athletic atmosphere, as many are former college student athletes. With our knowledge and expertise, we develop young athletes by teaching them the proper running mechanics, event specific technical skills, strength and conditioning, and how to be successful outside of the track as well.

Cross Country - Cross country is a fall season sport in which teams and individuals run a race on open-air courses over natural terrain such as dirt or grass. A course may include woodlands and open country, hills, flat ground and sometimes gravel roads. 6 and under run a distance of 1000m (1K), 8-Under 2000m (2K), 9 years – 10 years 30

It is both an individual and team sport.

Indoor Track & Field - Indoor Track & Field is a winter sport, with competition being held indoors. Short sprint events indoor consist of the 55m and/or 60m Dash, 55m and/or 60m Dash, as well as 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200, 4x200 and 4x400 relays, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump Shot Put, Pole Vault, and Racewalk. Practice is typically held indoor with outdoor practices weather permitting.

Outdoor Track & Field - Outdoor Track & Field is a spring sport with competition being held outside. Events include 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3000m Steeplechase, 3200m, Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Pole Vault, Javelin, and 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
